You're right. The game world goes back and forth between the America of tall glass buildings and the Russia of the former Soviet steppes. It would be fun to see the British perspective of fear. The steering wheel being on the right side has already managed to scare me.

I know it's a game, but it's very unrealistic. A cop is no emergency dispatcher, and he should have a partner

I know it's just a demo but the graphics look 15 years older at least. And it's hard to miss when we had games like Hellblade 2, RE4 or Alan Wake 2 being released earlier this year. Ironically this looks like Alan Wake 1. All has to be polished from rendering to sound to animation even the UI, so I don't know if they'll make it in time for the release. The comparaison with Resident Evil doesn't help either, the last demo I played from the franchise was RE8 Village more than 3 years ago and it had high quality visuals. And I know Capcom the studio is bigger and it was a AAA game but I don't expect this game to have a big map. But I expect it to be scary and so far it's not. I also have a problem with the concept and gameplay being completely boring and unoriginal : third person shooter survival horror with zombies in a decaying old isolated mansion. It being set in UK countryside (which it's not that blatant btw and I watched tons of UK movies and series sets in UK countryside) with a cop instead of Raccoon City or post apocalyptic US isn't a refreshing take on the genre. So I'll wait to see more before purchasing it because I'm looking for games that have more to propose.

Looks more like pure cut and dry Cannibals, like the Family from RE7 but without the supernatural goop (I might be proved wrong later, IDK) and more "Ooh arr!" as opposed to "Yeeeeehaaaaaw!"

Plus, he's just gotten a call from a woman who's in distress and has provided no tangible information as to the scenario. Rolling up on Blues and Twos, he might as well just phone the Suspects and inform them he's popping round to save one of their Victims (If she's not in on it) and would they be so kind as to pop the kettle on!!
