That company really fired this man twice. One thing AEW is gonna do is give a legend their flowers. Joe being a world champ in a major company combined with the way they're handling Sting's final run is more than evidence of that.

One thing I love about Samoa Joe is that he seems like he genuinely WANTS to be in AEW and cares about it doing well. Others who have come in from WWE see it as their second choice but Joe sees it as a second chance, a chance to prove that he can be THE guy in a major promotion and elevate it's world title in the process.

I still can’t believe that Samoa Joe never won a World Championship on the main roster in WWE. He had 4 matches against AJ Styles during the Summer and Fall of 2018 and they never pulled the trigger on him becoming champ. I’m glad that he’s finally getting the chance to show that he can carry a world title on a big stage because he deserves and I hope he has a decent reign with AEW World Championship

I always assumed he was an EX WWE champ. Wow... no wonder. Never held the main belt. I guess there was a reason I stopped watching WWE in 2001. And it was only revived after AEW started.

Joe could absolutely have credibly beaten Lesnar for the Universal Championship during their feud in WWE, but they didn't have the balls to have the Beast lose to anyone other than Roman or Seth. Hell, as his AEW run has proven, even the issue of him supposedly being "injury-prone" was just nothing more than plain bad luck.

Apparently, he was supposed to win the title at Super Showdown against Styles, but Vince (most likely) didn’t want him to, so changed it the day of, and Joe didn’t win the title. And he was also supposed to win at GBOF, but again, that got changed. :/

Gotta respect Joe's commitment to consistency. It looks like he's been rocking the same two-color shorts-over-tights outfit for his entire professional career! On a more serious note, I like that AEW is still allowing the world title storyline to feature more than just 1 challenger at a time.

Samoa Joe is definitely one of the best wrestlers we have today. His runs in TNA, NXT, and now in AEW, really show why he’s such a killer beast. He’s had banger after banger throughout the years, and has had many more great matches over bad ones, and the fact that he’s now being rewarded as AEW World Champion, this really is a greater time to be a Samoa Joe fan. I truly hope his reign can be awesome, and Joe can make the belt more prestigious than it already is.🤞🙏 Excellent video, dude.👍❤️

When I first saw TNA, Joe and Styles were the two stand outs for me. Joe has always felt one the most legitimate guys in the business. His feud with Lesnar was great. Admittedly, the AEW title run caught me off guard, but it's refreshing. I'm still in the boat of a Swerve title run, but Joe's gonna kill it until then.

You don't have to be embarrassed, my guy, alot of people thought Joe was done after that second firing. The fact that he seemed very injury prone in WWE definitely made us think that his body was at its limit; his run with Kahn's promotions have shown us (and maybe even Joe himself) that he's got plenty in the tank. Samoa Joe is one of my favorite wrestlers and I'm glad to see him back on top and in business; thank you for this video

I’m so glad he’s managed return to his normal self, in ring shape, paces matches in a typical Joe style allowing him to do what he does best, very happy he’s been able to get his flowers on recent time and finally get another world title reign! Top professional and one of the best and most underrated of an era!

I must admit I thought that Joe would have been used mostly as a transitional challenger for MJF, especially during the first part of their feud between All In and Grand Slam, but I was glad I was wrong: Joe is no spring chicken, but he's still one of the best and a safe choice as a champion, I am happy he's been given the opportunity to run with it. I still find it a pity that Vince never had him hold a main title in WWE, which would have been a deserved milestone on Joe's legendary already palmares, but hey in the end it worked in favour of AEW.

5:25-5:35 Joey Mercury revealed a lot of problems with Ring of Honor when he was there from 2018-2019 and the pandemic made things worse in 2020 that I am confident a lot of people knew by 2021 that ROH's problems were that bad before the purchase was announced. Even Bully Ray had snippets about what ROH officials said before the 1st All In calling it "a little show" while providing production for it. ROH had a lot of problems that Tony Khan had to have heard before especially since he hired guys like BJ Whitmer who is involved in some of the drama in ROH with Kelly Klein and Joey Mercury.

Just gonna say it.....HHH better stop playing and reach out to Joe, and push him properly, rather than this nonsense we got 6 years ago while Vince was in charge continuing to rain all sorts of undeserved spoils on Brock. And the perfect way to bring him in is the man who successfully topples The Tribal Chief. I mean, think about it. Roman gets beat by Joe, goes away for a bit, then Cody finishes his story, or has a rivalry with Orton, Punk or Knight. As of now though, I'm glad Joe has taken care of himself and wound up in a company that appreciates him at least a little bit...enough to make him the world champion of their organization.

TNA dropping the ball with him is what ultimately made me lose interet in the production. Them pulling the WCW with their in-grown talent in favor of the incoming WWE will never not amaze me. It's a crime that his career hasn't been rewarded with world tit;es in the double digits by now. I'm getting annoyed just thinking about how underappreciated he's been by these promotions. I wish he wouldv'e ditched TNA and went to somewhere like New Japan sooner than he did.
