It's so run down and deprived, it's really rough. I live in Manchester and it's rough here, I was a doorman for 4 years and worked at, at the time the biggest bar in manchester. It's rough!! Blackpool is rough but just full of little scallies, Manchester is rough with gang violence.

Blackpool is one of the better places in the UK. It has a great shopping centre. Plenty of things to do. Wonderful Hotels. The centre which was getting a bit run down is being completely transformed.

If you go back to Blackpool, you will get a proper guided tour if you collaborate with Stephen from A Walk On The Wild Side. This guy knows everything that's worth knowing about Blackpool, and then some. If you want to visit dodgy areas at night, Stephen is your man, he knows the town inside out. I hope you go back and meet him someday, he's a really good guy and very well liked.

Blackpool have a light display from now till November that takes you all the way down the promenade. It’s a fairly run down place Blackpool but popular for stag & hen nights . From North Wales and love the uk vlogs aswell as USA ones

Blackpool is my closest seaside town its 40 mins down the road, it's really not that bad in summer, i base great memories as a kid going to Blackpool, they have the Christmas lights called the illuminstions which are great to take your kids to drive through

40 years ago Blackpool was jumping with people it was a proper holiday resort where people from all over the country would come over for a short holiday, there were toy shops galore even the amusement arcades were packed with people, now it's a shadow of it's former self if you could turn back time people would think otherwise about the place.

Should visit the Headland in Hartlepool mate. Proper rough! And probably one of the most unique folklore on the planet, as the people of the headland are known to be called “monkey hangers” 😅 Also, best fish n chippy “Verrills”… make sure you get mushy peas and curry sauce

Lived in Blackpool for 2 years for uni years ago. Has its dodgy parts but the people are good. Had a few run ins with some of the bad lads but buy them a pint and they’re your best mate, like most places. Cracking night out though, used to be one of the best especially when Jenx was open. Mondays and Thursdays in walkabout Fridays in Blue Room & Jenx, stay in Saturday and Sunday in the flying handbag. Best cheese chips from eatabout, ribs from dixy land, best chippy is the number 3 chippy. Open mic at the galleon. Good times ‘09 - ‘11.

We watched this last night and because we are older than you we remember how it was as Blackpool was the working mans destination every bank holiday thousands of coaches would head their for a fun day out from the midlands and the north usually and it would be buzzing with people I had a Aunty who owned a B & B a large one as i remember going for Christmas as it was one long party Everywhere the same now not enough money to keep the place as it should be standards have dropped
