Jocelyn, the transformation of this home is just amazing. The house is absolutely beautiful! I kept having flashbacks of what each room used to look like as we toured each room. What an incredible labor of love by you and your family. Now a beautiful family is filling this house with love and making happy memories there. What a sweet couple. The home is put together really charming and very special. I like that she put together the various small objects on the shelf near the front door, and that they are from thrift stores, and they are antiques! Older items and items found treasure hunting like that make a home very warm and cozy. I love the hutch in the Living room that looks really great. The small section of the kitchen that is the coffee bar, and the picture hanging over it is charming! The china cabinet with the Christmas china in it in the dining area is so great! BTW, I love what she did with the antique pieces of material that came from her great grandmother! They look really sharp framed and hung on the wall like that. I love that they incorporated family heirlooms in the home and cherish them. Thank you for the lovely tour. This is a very charming, warm, and special home that has a lot of life in it.

I just got done binge watching these videos and I cried with you. Going through a divorce myself and remembering having to do through belongings was the toughest part. Specially the kids stuff, trying to decide what house gets what. Thank you for sharing this part of your life with us. I hate it that you had to go through that mess while you where getting ready for a new baby. Lady you have so much more get up and go than I have ever had in my 62 years. And I would like to say you have a sweet and good side to you. Because I never would have given a x husband any of his belongings after dealing with that mess. Your parents raised you with lot of live kindness and forgiveness. It would be hard for a lot of us to deal with the ham house, myself included. Jess and Jessie’s china buffet looks exactly ours. We bought right after our wedding in 1973 at a furniture store on Route 4 in Hackensack/Paramus New Jersey. We still have ours. They both still look great for being almost 50 years old! Happy to see a nice young family enjoying your former home.
