Initially I was against state police because of the way governors behaves in their respective states. But I think we should give it a trial because practice makes perfect.

Soludo is right. Autonomy is a misused word. They are not autonomous. They are fiscally independed of the SG. However, it is an odd thing for someone who supports State police and even made those arguments to be making. All the reasons State policing and even local policing(as he said) are good also apply to local governance.

I disagree with you on the retired teachers state of origin and their pension sir, the issue isn't LG pulling funds together, I support this because the LGs of each state should be pulling heavy infrastructure together. The issue here is, why should the state and Nigerians at large still be affected by "state of origin" this is against our unity and progress. That teacher should have the luxury of teaching anywhere in Nigeria and still retire to her pension in any part of Nigeria she wants. This state of origin is ridiculous that it can affect us in 2024 financially and how we live in general.. GOD BLESS UNITED STATE OF NIGERIA
