I don’t understand why there is so much hate on other people hating on other peoples cars…. They’ll go on to say Honda is better than Hyundai… Then Toyota is better than Honda… Then Dodge is better than Toyota… BMW is better than Dodge… it’s a never ending debate. It’s only a car, let people drive what they like.

💯💥🙌🏽 I’m so over the hate on these cars!!! I don’t even own one (yet 🤔)! The Honda F’Boys always HATING like a mofo swearing like they are something so out of this world. In my opinion, the EN is more special because it came from an underdog type of situation. I think Deep Deep down they know Hyundai is ACTUALLY crushing it and within reach of possibly even beating the CTR someday soon. Like, who said CTR’s are the end all be all because they definitely are not. I like the and Al,ost bought one but wasn’t worth the markup. Would rather get an M2 or RS3 at that point. But the Hyundai EN is WITHOUT A DOUBT the KING of dollar for dollar fun. Seriously been considering getting one for the last couple years. Just waiting to pull the trigger when a white 24 comes around. Only thing besides that holding me back is whether I need a crossover due to my Fiesta ST having had the seats removed and now essentially a 2 seater and I’m no married with the possibility of having a child in the next couple years.

That's facts. After I lost my 2013 Genesis I researched and the N was the next logical choice. Still quick, fun, room for life people and things. Then I test drove it and that was a wrap. Signed the papers that day!

Nice! Kinda in the same boat, but I still have my 13 Genesis coupe 3.8. I've got headers, intake, exhaust, and she is still fun to drive, but she's got up there in miles ( 142k now), so I wanted a new car, with a warranty, and after watching a thousand video reviews on the Elantra N I bought a new 23 Elantra N Cyber Grey last year! It's been awesome. I was going to add forced induction to my Genesis, but the cost, with building the motor, was going to be over 10k, so I just kept it how it was , and pulled the trigger on the N

@@godzilla7391 Congrats brotha! Happy to hear that! I loved my 2.0T. BTR Stage 1 Tune, ISIS exhaust, Intake, etc.... she could hold her own against SCAT chargers. Loved her to death and if I hadn't wrecked her I'd still be driving her today. She was a great car! Hold on to your 3.8 sir if you can.

@DarkMikaruX Thanks. Yours sounds like she was nice! I plan on keeping her as long as she stays going. I have the Borla catback exhaust on it, and it sounds so good, with the low growl. I wish it wasn't so expensive to add forced induction and build the motor. I was really wanting to go with the DTOZ supercharger, and I may do so eventually, but im really going to have to build the motor 1st, with as many miles as it now has

He won't regret I had a 2019 Type R in Sonic Grey Pearl for over 3 years and just traded it in for my 2023 Elantra N back in December and I still have no regrets

I just did this same thing a few weeks ago, trading my beloved 380whp FK8 in for a 2024 EN, DCT. There are things I miss about the R but the N is just so much nicer to hop in and drive without any worries.

its only a minimal downgrade honestly. the truth is that sometimes people get bored of cars, the fk8 isnt that exciting of a car, it sounds like a vacuum, doesnt rev past 7k, etc.. i owned one in sgp and sold it after 8 months to go back to a subaru. im not a big fan of hyandai as a brand as ive only known them to be kinda crappy, but theyve stepped it up in the last 10 years, and if this dude wants that car, i say hey its his money, enjoy

They are VERY reliable from my experience. My mom had a 2011 Elantra and she got over 230k miles on it and it still purred very smoothly.

FK8 to Elantra N is 100% an upgrade. More custimizabilty, significantly better exhuast, more tech/luxury/features, and are neck and neck around the track with same tires. Lot of it applies to the FL5 as well but i think mnay would choose the FL5 if it was 5K less expensive. When considering which is better and money is a factor, the Elantra wins every time

At first, when i seen the press release of the new 24 model, i preferred the facelift over my 23. But i swear, after a year of owning mine, the 23 look in the front has grown on me, and now i prefer it much more. The 22-23 Elantra N front looks more aggressive to me. Just my opinion 😊

I agree that it looks aggressive but as an older guy (39) I couldn’t feel comfortable with the front end of the 22-23. The 24 just looks more mature which is what I really want. Kind of how the old CTR looked rad AF but too aggressive for my current state in life now married. Also the 24 had some good changes addressing some minor flaws that I’m looking forward to as well. I own a Fiesta ST that’s heavily modified and that’s why I need something bigger, mature and more family oriented.

@georgevigil7001 I hear you. Not sure about the 24 looking more "mature" , as I'm 50, and I personally like the look of the front end more on the last gen, but to each his or her own. I do like some the of upgrades they did to the 24 model, especially the bushings to help wheel hop, and other subtle touches. I also own a lightly modded Genesis coupe 3.8 BK2 ( headers, intake, exhaust), and sorta fell in love with what Hyundai was doing, as far as performance per dollar, and decided to add the Elantra N. Kudos to you and hope you enjoy it! 😉

Honda's are tough to tune...really🤷‍♂️ I've had 2 N75 tuned ECUs and problems with both, especially the 2nd one, partial throttle issues...WOT no problems. Swapped the stock ECU back in and the partial throttle issue is NON EXSISTENT🤷‍♂️

my issue with the g70 is that from what I know, its hard to make the 3.3 sound good. my friend has a stinger and hes been trying for a while to find a way to make it sound nice and he just cant seem to find anything. also, wouldnt the g70 insurance be higher since it is technically a luxury car?

Only thing it does better is acceleration and cruising. That’s it. The EN has more space in the interior and is better on a back road/ cornering and handling and is just outright more enjoyable lol

The tranny is better in the EN from what I’ve seen. I almost bought a G70 myself. Was cross shopping that with an Alpha QF.
