I've been married for 18 years and I can say we are still in the honeymoon phase. He’s just that… an American 😅 born and bred. He started adjusting his pronunciation a lot when he moved here because people struggled to understand his accent so he’d have to repeat things a few times (which can be annoying) and sometimes he imitates my accent too
