In the past, we often hear : if you understand one sutra, you will understand all sutras. If you understand one Dharma, you will understand all Dharmas. One is many, many is one. One and many are not duality. This is the realm of Avatamsaka Sutra. That is " one wish is fulfilled, every wish is fulfilled". Which wish? As long as one fulfil the wish to rebirth into Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, all other wishes will be fulfilled. This is so amazing and inconceivable. Some people still doubt: Can it be true? Master one sutra, you master all sutras. Master five sutras, you are a learned practitioner. Master ten sutras, the most you become a scholar. But no true benefit. Likewise one of the six senses succeed, all other senses naturally succeed. Don't learn you become an ignorance person. Learning too many, you become very intelligent and arrogant. To attain Enlightenment, one must be total ignorance, just like a fool. Intuitive wisdom knows all. 🙏🙏🙏 Amitabha Buddha

Also in your studies, has there been buddhas/arahants/ bodhisattva that were successful in their worldly matters before, attaining buddhahood?

Im pretty confused. Some buddhists don't go to the extremes as you do. Is it really that urgent to realize these subtle aspects of buddhism to attain liberation? But after reading the Suttras, they definitely have a sense of urgency. And That there are deeper realizations to be made. And these deeper realizations are strange. Are the sutras just propaganda? Or are they something legit to be followed? Or the buddha is just a mad man ?? Like some of his teachings definitely resonated with me (And I have a sense of the deep implications of the 4 noble truths)(But I also have an emotional block to delve any deeper since, I feel like I might fall into madness), and then the further I read his teachings the more I realize what the madness that's being uncovered. Or that these deeper realizations are real, but should not be attached to. Therefore, LIVING life as it's intended?
