This has turned out beautifully Barbara. Thoroughly enjoying the prompts this year. Like you, I never have a plan, might have a couple of items that I want to use but each creation is all about adapting and evolving for me. Can't imagine how much energy would be needed to plan everything and stick to that plan. Cheers

Denim pockets have a special memory for me. I'm glad it's a prompt for this year. Love the slits, stamps, dangle and textured background pieces. The acetate and colors remind me of a trend some time ago with see through back pockets on jeans. It was supposed to be sexy, but I think it was a bit over the top. lol Happy Dephemerember! 💖☮🙏

Lol my son just grew out of his denim jacket replenishing my stock 🙌. Lol you know how this works 😄. I ripped SO MUCH denim in the 80's, good times 😄. Ooh, denim and acetate? how cool 😎. I love it! I'm a chronic planner🙈 but it can all go out the window at any point😄. The square stamping is very 70's😍. Awesome page! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖 P.S. Hi, sorry I'm late to the party!!! I am one of those who plan things, BUT on the day, it all goes out of the window, and I end up making it up as I go along. However, you and Louise are amazing. I wish I had a sewing machine. But I don't, so I improvise, and use cotton threads or hand stitching. I love all that you make, and you really are an inspiration. Love the background and the final page with the jeans pocket. I haven't even started doing the prompts because I have recently moved house and only today did I start installing the new furniture for my craft room. I can't wait to get back to crafting after almost a year of moving and travelling. I think this year's Dephemerember is even better and more special than last year, if that's possible. The Dephemerembe song brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. I think it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Thank you.

Hi Barbara, enjoying your videos. A long, long time ago, when stenciling walls and furniture and fabrics was all the rage...I learned the best way to stencil: Dip the stippling brush in to the paint, then pounce the brush on a scrap or your palette until almost ALL the paint is removed from the brush, Then, hold the brush completely upright, lightly pounce over your stencil/fabric over and over until you have the coverage you want. Building up the paint little by little assures good coverage with no bleeding. Never brush back and forth, that's never a good look! Hope this is helpful as I see so many creatives using stencils these days and not as successfully as they'd like. Blessings

Love the jeans pocket. My husband covered a notebook using a pair of jeans with the pocket on the front cover to put pencils and etc in. The dangles finish it perfectly.😍

I recently used jeans for a journal cover - inspired by you. they were little girl jeans so the zipper placket and pockets were little and perfectly sized for a small journal. Now I'm thinking I need to add a little stenciling as well. thanks Barbara

I watch your video and then luise's. Then I think about what I have and how to amalgamate everything together or take bits from each. It's like I'm on a mission, trying to watch videos around dog walking meals etc. Then making a plan. Collecting and gathering. Then boom "I'm going to craft leave me alone!!!" Never happens, let the dogs out, make a cuppa, are you hungry???😡 Luckily I use my drying time to deal with the nonsense. Did I just call my family nonsense (Yes I Did!!!!) 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
