That build was amazing! Also, that cable on the side of the cockpit is for a sea anchor (i'm pretty sure)

@@SullysScaleModels you can use a sea anchor in any depth, it just floats in the water and stops you drifting, it’s like a parachute that gets wet lol

The rope you were asking about is for a sea anchor if I remember correctly. In the event of having to ditch at sea the co pilot would attach a canvas type anchor which was stowed in the box behind the co pilots seat on the left. don’t think they were ever used

Any holes /areas such as the exhaust on something left out for a long time - 9 times out of 10 will have had birds nesting / animals sheltering in them ..that exhaust / Rotor area would not have remained empty for long it would be full of grass, twigs, moss and hay .. . ALSO .. you missed lots of Bird crap around said area's .. The interior is far too clean .. that hay would have gone EVERYWHERE .. also it would have been covered in feathers and bird shit .. (Pigeons would have loved the interior) .. It basically would have been one hell of a mess
@VFCproductions Жыл бұрын
Interesting points however I feel you need a bit more context: These chickens have hired a cleaner who pops around once a week to make sure all the floors and walls are in good order. Naturally, their role does not extend to external maintenance as they are but a humble cleaner and not an aircraft technician. The aircraft has actually only sat there for a few months, but these things weather 48 times quicker than the real thing (it's a scale thing). Of course no one has told the pigeons this and they still weather in real time. Finally, chickens don't make nests in exhausts as they are afraid of heights. That's why they can fly but choose not to. Hope this helps.
