Thank you. Check out our other flights. The landings on Flinders Island and in Merimbula were exciting.

Hey mate, nice video. However, radio needs work. ‘Ready’ is typically used when requesting a takeoff clearance not a taxi clearance. You didn’t request the airways, but ATC gave it…then tower had to ask if you were ready. Sorry mate, but sloppy comms…

Two things about Moruya. The granite which forms the pylons for the Sydney Harbour Bridge was cut from quarry's In Moruya. Also a young Theodore Flynn attended school in Moruya in the late 1800's. Theodore was gifted academically and would later become a Professor of Biology. Perhaps his most famous biological experiment was conducted in Hobart, where the most memorable of " Robin Hood's" " Errol Flynn made his swashbuckling entrance. Your flight covered some lovely coastline scenery.😊

I quite like Moruya. The airport is better than Merimbula and the town is less busy as well.

Good on you mate. I think you did relatively well for your experience and licence category. Looking at your videos you have more actual experience than many 1000 hour PPL's. Maybe consider some of the comments in relation to radio transmissions and standard phraseology. It is in the AIP. Otherwise I loved it and started following you. 👍 we all start somewhere and by know means am I an expert 👍😎

Thanks, it's just a lack of practice. I did all my training on non towered fields and that is where I am comfortable. My only experience with towers pre PPL were at YSBK and YSTW.

Why on earth would you carry life jackets on an overwater flight but not wear them? You’re deluded if you think, following an engine failure, you’d have both the time and space to don them correctly.

We were wearing life jacket belts. Wearing life jackets is only required if flying below 2000ft. My altitude was 8500ft.
