This is my first time watching anything to do with ROH, and I was expecting it to suck. Instead, I have been sucked in by an unlikely storyline that somehow works. I love Billie's energy, charisma, and skill. Athena, is someone I would have liked to see get pounded into Oblivion by Martinez.

I'm wishing every week that the AEW women got actual storylines instead of throwing a bunch of them in a ring and calling it a trios match because they're face vs heels. The closest to storylines we have now involve Ruby falling out with Saraya over a crush, Skye Blue being moody (I love her but really it's low effort in comparison) and Shida gets used when they want to build up a title for someone else. I'm glad for AEW but it's pathetic how the women have been used from the start. If it isn't Britt they don't care about story. Toni Storm built the character and got herself over. TK just doesn't care.

​@@PaulReedAlso, if you were actually an honest person, you would realize that the reason the booking was just thrown together matches with meh stories, is because every time someone got on a roll (regardless of division) they got injured. The women's division was hit especially hard by the injury bug. It's hard to have consistent, meaningful stories with dynamic characters when everyone you push gets a horrible injury. Btw.. "Skye is just moody. Low effort by comparison" You really need to give TK more credit than that. They were clearly building something there, and now she's with Julia Hart and the House of Black.

Anyone who looks down on women's wrestling should watch this. By far one of the most entertaining and interesting storylines going in wrestling today. Billie is fantastic, not only in the ring but her personality and character work as well. Copy/Paste for Athena. And Lexi is fucking hilarious and is so good in her role as well. Every match on this is worth watching, every backstage segment. The work all of them did with this merits them all the props in the world.

In terms of female wrestling this is by far the best storyline I've seen from the ladies in wrestling right now. It's a real shame all of it was hidden on ROH streaming service where most ppl don't subscribe to. It's time to move Athena to main AEW programming on Dynamite, Collision and Rampage next year BC to me the girl is way too good being pigeon holed on ROH for this long.

Why is that Athena is the ONLY champion in ROH who has to lose her championship to move to TV, while every other title holder is regularly featured on Collision or Dynamite?
