From Mother Angelica to the Divine Will - Mother Gabrielle

Good to see Mother Gabrielle, she was my superior at the Monastery in Hanceville. I was the postulant who went there with the Divine Will writings. I was there for 13 years and made final vows as an Extern Sister. I've always missed being there and Mother Angelica even though I was a bit afraid of her. I miss the Sisters there and it's a real shame so many left and are now married or joined other communities. After 12 years I'm still searching for God's Will in my life. Please pray for me.

@@ElijahsCloak I did visit once soon after I left the monastery in Hanceville. I was still struggling with everything that happened there when I was visiting so I was very emotional then. I left thinking perhaps I shouldn't join there. I recently asked her if I could visit again being its been 12 years now and I still long for religious life and wish I had never left. She said no because of the first decision I made was a sign to her that I shouldn't go there. Now that I am in a different mindset and thinking more clearly I wish I could visit again. I don't know what God wants, I've been struggling for a long time.

If you still long for the monastic, why not consider joining that which you helped start? The Benedictine Daughters of the DW are open to Franciscan and Carmelite Spirituality. You know Mother Gabrielle and it would not hurt to inquire and visit. As you heard on the video, they have an intention to expand.

Yeah I just left a message about that. I did visit her new community right when she was starting it. I stayed with her for 3 months in Italy. I was emotional a lot being I had just left the monastery in Hanceville. I told her I wasn’t sure about joining yet so she took that as a sign that I shouldn’t join them ever. I recently asked her if I could visit again being 12 years have passed since I last visited and she said no bc she asked for a sign the first time and bc I didn’t join then that means it’s not Gods will that I join them at all.

Very interesting story Mother Angelica and how Sister took over and brought Living in Gods Divine will and left ewtn and began Divine Will Luisa Book of Heaven now she died and mother Angelica let her do so now shes talking about Luisa and has groups of nuns Divine Will talking to Bob and Divine Will so this is second time listening to this talk . ❤❤ had 400 people then hired . A response to the former postulant. - If you are still searching after 25 years it would not seem that you are living in or accepting the Divine Will. It requires total surrender to God. God bless

Share about the Vatican's formal investigation of the Hanceville Convent which resulted in instructing you and Sr Margaret Mary to immediately leave on at least a two year sabbatical. It seems you don't answer the question but hedge around on the peripheral issues that had nothing much to do with the providential issue of why you had to leave the convent which set you on the path of where you find yourself now. (Raymond Arroyo's account in Daniel O'Connor's book The Crown of Sanctity)

I'm old enough to remember that there were more than a few Bishops who were angered with Mother Angelica who as an orthodox Nun became the most influential religious since Fulton Sheen. It was very convenient to use the request from the Sisters to launch an investigation and to impose an outsider. Also, I see God's Will in this. Out of this unseemly discord which is a horrible contradiction to Mother Angelica's good memory and bountiful legacy, God has found a catalyst for the creation of the first religious order of the DW. This is just more fruit attributable to Mother Angelica's prolific legacy.

When Sr Margaret Mary and Sr Catherine were instructed by the Vatican investigation to immediately leave for at least a two year sabbatical, another Sister from outside the Community/Order was appointed Superior. The history of the Poor Clares from that point hasn't been made public as far as I know, unless it's archived in Raymond Arroyo's book: Mother Angelica Her Grand Silence: The Last Years and Living Legacy

@@keepers... I asked to return after my exclaustration and I was told the community voted against having extern sisters so I was not welcomed back. She said if I still decided to return I’d not have anything to do with the community and I’d live alone as an extern not doing anything and I’d be miserable. She also told me I wasn’t allowed to bring any Divine Will writings back to the monastery. I decided not to return based on what she said to me but I regret that now. I shouldn’t have left in the first place. No one should have left. It was her goal to get rid of as many sisters as possible who were traditional minded.

@@keepers... I want to write a book about what happened there bc it’s all so bizarre what took place. As soon as Sr. Margaret Mary was elected as abbess the strangest paranormal things happened. Many sisters felt an evil presence. She was kicking our sisters that she didn’t like getting plane tickets for them to leave the next day. It was her and St. Agnes that caused a lot of problems in the community for years way before the election of new abbess. I saw them bully even Mother Angelica arguing with her until they got they’r way. Those two were like little devils in that monastery.
