From Nata To Foinikas Off-Road - With Commentary - Cyprus 2024

The blue bird you mention is the European Roller - we saw quite a few when we lived in Cyprus. And not all birdwatchers are twitchers! Twitchers are rarity chasers, not just hobby birders. We did that drive to Foinikas - although not as much off-road as this - and it scared me to death! We parked a little way before the village and walked down, so that we could turn easily. I certainly wouldn't have done that grassy track! The whole area was covered in yellow plants and looked lovely.
