Berlin has a unique treasure trove: the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation.
It is one of the five largest universal collections in the world, including 20 museums with over five million objects from the bust of Nefertiti to the art of Joseph Beuys.
The Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation includes one of the world's largest libraries as well as outstanding archives and research institutes. Among the stars of its gigantic collection, which encompasses all areas of cultural tradition from the Stone Age to contemporary art, are the bust of Nefertiti in the Neues Museum, Hans Holbein's portrait of the merchant Georg Gisze in the Gemäldegalerie, and the installation "Das Kapital” by Joseph Beuys in the Hamburger Bahnhof. But the Berlin museums do not only exhibit, they also search for answers to the great questions of humanity: How can we open up the world and its resources and yet live in harmony with it? And how can we better understand and shape reality through our rich cultural heritage? The two-part documentary reveals the secrets of many spectacular pieces of art, shows the museum organizers and accompanies archaeologists to China. Berlin's museums reveal themselves to be not just temples of beauty and ultra-modern research centers, but also as the home to countless fascinating stories.

It’s extremely painful to see people justifying barbaric acts of their forefathers whose greatest influence around the world was killing and looting all in the name of preservationist arts. Who made you the world art protector? Seems the kleptomaniac tendencies run in the blood. Make amends by returning the Artefakts to the rightful owners. Nigeria long asked for the return of theirs but they are still in the Hombolt museum and others in the UK. They are too good to be returned smh 🤦🏿‍♂️

About the recent nonsense regarding the bust of Nefertiti: "The pigments used on the bust have been matched to those used by ancient Egyptian artisans. Chemical analysis on the dyes and pigments was initially done by Friedrich Rathven, presented in Borchardt's book “Portrait of Queen Nofretete” (1923). They match the ones in the 18th dynasty paintings a later analysis by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology confirmed in 1982. The bust also bears resemblance to other unfinished, but recognizable busts of Queen Nefertiti. The 2006 CT scan that discovered the "hidden face" of Nefertiti proved, according to Science News, that the bust was genuine." But, if you ignore the forensic science and accept the opinion of one cranky Swiss journalist then yes - this is a modern fake. 😏 Best wishes from Vermont ❄️

The discrepancy between conservation states of the authentic finds, (other model busts and heads) and the netertiti bust are completely unconsistant, and the chances of such an occurence is next to nihil... To be frank, nihil. At the time studies concerning polychromy in antique sculpture was 'all the rage'... particularly in Berlin... A study concerning the one inset eye - corrosion, and the effects and comparison with the bust,..) (no doubt authentic Inset, of the appropriate quality, to be found, perhaps in a studio) would be one way to approach it,.. There are more. The scientific methods applied, would have been known to produce the right results.

why is it that she becomes so white on the copies ?

I don't like their replicas because they are trying to show her with rosie cheeks & white. The bust of her is a woman of color with beautiful brown skin.

Then you shoulg google "smithsonian skeletons conspiracy", and you will see there never were any giants (except for mutation). All done by conservative Christians, to counter the Theory of Evolution. However, if you can provide any evidence on the contrary, please foreward it; and any evidence on other things destroyed by Smothsonian, like sources and references....

Egypt means land of black people which also means Nefertiti was a black woman. That's why most of the statues in Egypt don't have nose. The nose of black people you can only find it with a black person. No other race have nose like black people. Stop telling lies.
