Yes, I'm 69 yrs old and have been following BTS their entire career til now. I started with Kdramas, and other Kpop groups, but only listen to BTS now, (and TXT, Enhyphen). Their messages, music , character, humor are so relatable, that I am totally a fan. They are a gift to the world. I watch reactions because there is no one around me that gets BTS. You are lucky to have each other in this journey. I live in Colorado which seems to be the black hole of BTS music. So sad.

I love your positivity! I was introduced to BTS by a Korean company I used to work for but never had the time to really get into them because I was always working. One day I hit a wall and told management that at 68 I just couldn't do this anymore. I retired (sort of) and spent about 3 months just immersing myself in everything I could find. I found my passion again. They really are healing.

I’m 56 and I feel just as you do. They are the perfect storm. They have touched my heart in such a way that I just consider them my family. (Of course if I was only 30 years younger I’d be trying to marry them all!!😂😂). But they have definitely made a difference in my life and make me smile constantly whenever they show up anywhere. I’ve loved bands before, but never ever the way I love BTS. I’m invested in following them and protecting them like they were my kids. I'm 51yrs old baby army.....I found them while I was in pain due to an incident on birthday in Feb 2023. I also Jamaican....which means no one gets BTS. So keep the reactions coming it gives me someone to talk it about our boys.

I'm 44 next month, and I'm an ARMY!! OT7 but SUGAis my bias, but I love all of our boys equally! I try to get anybody I talk to to understand just exactly how much joy they bring me! Yes those figures are very much off in fact the majority of BTS fans are older that's because we tend to be music fans rather than followers of trends. I'm in the UK and fans here are older and we have the income to afford to buy Albums, concert tickets, plane tickets, pay for hotel rooms etc etc. The image of teenagers being the only group that are BTS fans is an extremely outdated concept. ARMY is extremely diverse, it's not the norm. I'm one of those who is in the 'mature' end of the spectrum, not yet reached retirement age here in the UK. However I'm a music lover, a musician and a vocalist who never followed typical 'Boy Bands' either. I'm also someone who has been open to music, films TV series from all over the world in a myriad of different languages since I was a young teenager. Good quality music is good quality of music it doesn't have to be in English. We also have a little thing called subtitles which can help us but it's the sound that attracts us first the melodies the feel of a song that makes us want to delve a wee bit deeper which is extremely easy as subtitles are available and if for cultural references there are explanations available to assist us and teach us new things. It's lovely to see you both exploring and enjoying BTS.

This statistic is old and only from the concert attendees that year. As you all know younger people are more active concert goers and much better with these days technologies to get those hard to get tickets. Like you said there are a lot more older and male fans now. There have been BTS symposiums organized by different countries professors and economists 3 years in a row. Yes, professional people study about our boys and analyze their music, what they represent and how they affect & influence others.
