Yep, I've been there ,cept I didn't pay for the ride. Road like a hobo back in 86. And was almost deported as an illegal immigrant. Didn't have ID ,I'd lost it month's before. Did meet some NBA players. Trailblazers Don't ask me who. The best thing I remember...train stopped, to let another pass walked up the side of a mountain, take care of some restroom business. Out of the side of the mountain, a very small pool of water was dripping down into a smaller pool,then traveled 5 6 yards to a slightly larger pool of this water. Greatest water i have ever tasted. Made kool-aid with a milk gallon left over .farther below was a large enough pool to bathe in ..believe me riding the rails is fun and much more...organic. but my bath did last very long whistle blew . Thought i was going to miss the train luckily this old Mexican gentleman grabbed me up as i was sprinting beside the train missed my empty car ,but the elderly man had friends 'pickers" using the free travel to move different crops. Dude, had some of the best Marijuana I've ever smoked ..I returned the favor had a half gallon of old granddad .they very much enjoyed the drink and were soon singing songs and someone produced a guitar. Good times
