0:32 this is still the main problem of FiveM, the goddamn amount of lag and demon dragging that FiveM just cannot cope with. I will consider FiveM playable if they fix that and people apparently hitting each other while being 10 meters apart.

It is not on FiveM to make 250+ ping playable in a racing game. It's simply not possible given the physics of GTA. It is not hard to race competitively when everyone has a reasonably low ping

with fiveM you need a server that is close to the people playing on it

@@puciohenzap891 Project homecoming is a single FiveM server. They have decided to not restrict players based on their location. Other FiveM servers might have more restrictions on acceptable pings. The issue isn't FiveM, it's latency.

@@nightbringar7558 But Broughy is the one hosting the races, for his own content, simply utilizing the server. He could easily internally limit the ping for his own lobbies. Just think to yourself, why must everyone be accepted into these specific races just because the admins deemed so for the average usage of the server.

Well show the 1322 crew a view videos of standing starts and their 1st corners of actuall racing and they learn from that, and remind them that you cant have the racing line at full speed at start of the race. Bathurst 1000 would be a perfect example how 25+ vehicles all traveling at the same speed can all go through a 90° left turn without serious crashing.

comparing IRL and regular GTA Online starts to FiveM where there is more lag in general with a 32 player lobby of people from various backgrounds, in a track that narrows down drastically, to people slowing down at different rates meaning those behind do not expect it which leans to incidents, mean lap 1 crashes are a certain. last time broughy tried to mitigate that with Ventoso laps people whinged

There are races where you settle into your position in the first three laps and spend the rest of the race cruising around. This isn't one of those races.

when desync causes two cars to be on the wrong of each other, the game freaks out when it tries to correct them and finds the car would need to travel through another to get to the right spot. result: violently flings both cars off the road

its more that broughy was being super unpredictable with the Wheel which caused Lars, Verdilith and Jujo to hit him Mastah is not at fault at all since there was no space to do anything else, plus lag would have made it look different to them

Looks like PH prefers to generate a lot of cars serverwide, like traffic in GTA, before giving more options. Maybe that's why there's so much repetition. Does Broughy have a favorite Random All? btw

What if you did car Mod reviews where you pick a base game car then review all variations of such Personally Asterope Asterope rs and the other asterope rs, Putting them in a video together could canonise the two generations of the rs called it 2015 version and 2020 version for instance

Not many ppl do performance reviews for lore friendly car mods usually show just modifiability and when they do review performance they arent always accurate because they give no base game comparison

Am I the only one who doesn't like the restart until the first lap is clean rule? I get that Broughy videos always aim to be the fairest clean-cut races possible. But shooting for perfect uniformity in a chaotic race where *random* is in the title and the whole selling point of the race is that all players *do not* have a fair and balanced shot at winning the race... then throwing a "NOT CLEAN, GOTTA RESTART" tantrum 119 videos into a tried-and-true race format because someone gets clipped or spun out on the first lap just feels ridiculously counterintuitive.
