12:10 you can draw a rectangle to fit your artboard, then go to Object > Path > Split into Grid & bingo, banco bongo you have perfect shapes for your zines! Doing it this way is nice too because you add gutters to each that’ll be equal as well. Cuts out all the guesswork.

As an offset-printer I really love the approach of separating digital artwork and print it color by color. It adds to make the printing process more comprehensible. Also using the Riso-brushes feels like drawing a print with all of the Halftones.

If you want to duplicate a path and reduce or expand it by a specific amount you can go: Object>path>offset path Edit: I just realised I wasn’t subscribed. So sorry, I’ve fixed this terrible oversight now 😊

When you said each image had its own color layers and you imported them into the print file, how did you do that? Did you export PS color channels? Or did you color the images using the multi-layer coloring you once covered a while back?
@chris-piascik5 ай бұрын
I used the same riso coloring process I’ve done in other videos. These aren’t actual color channels. The only thing I used Photoshop for was to quickly organize my pages into the template and then print.

I have a question bro. I made like 90 traits in Adobe fresco with vector art but when I made the traits transparent and published and uploaded with Google drive then sent them once they were uploaded the quality loomed blurred how can I fox that so they're HD. I also start using Adobe fresco because you but really need advice on this because I have something due soon.
@chris-piascik5 ай бұрын
Well if you are exporting them as pngs or something they will no longer be vector. Unfortunately Fresco doesn’t currently have the option to export directly as an SVG. To get vector art out of Fresco you need to either open it in illustrator from fresco and export from there. Or export as a pdf.
@Sesh_0075 ай бұрын
@@chris-piascik can you export as a png from illustrator? Thanks for the info also. These are being put on a generator that a dev made where people can make their own pfp and choose hot to design their characters for free. I made shoes, shirts, pants, eyes, and mouths, so just trying to keep that quality because someone else made another character in raster and that quality looked better then in the vector lol but the pieces have to be transparent. I'm using iPad 12.9 pro as well. I'll try sending to illustrator though and sending it from there.
@chris-piascik5 ай бұрын
You can export a png from illustrator, but it’s still not going to be vector because PNGs are raster based (pixel).
@Sesh_0075 ай бұрын
@@chris-piascik oh that sucks lol I hope there's a way to keep that quality or I'll have to convert everything to pixle like you said.
