As the video begins, the car you're sitting in is sited on the exact location of what would have been Studio 2 at Rediffusion Studios, Wembley, now demolished (although Studio 5 still stands and is now Fountain Television - home of The X Factor, located next door).
Studio 2 was the home of many classic sixties television series, including No Hiding Place. Ready Steady Go used to come from the studio next door, where McDonalds is now located. This journey is a swift jaunt between the old Rediffusion London studios, which later became London Weekend Television and LWT's other Wembley studio across town at Wycombe Road, now long since demolished.
The video ends with a brief view of the tyre fitting company and skip hire firm that have replaced it on the site. Keep an eye out for Wembley Point on the right as we zip down Harrow Road. That building housed administration and production staff for both Rediffusion and LWT during the sixties and early seventies. It was then known as Station House.
