Hey, this is like the opposite of a villain arc. Merry gets bullied in school, he quits and gets a job, he does well at said job and rises up the ranks, someone laughs at him for watching anime again but this time his rank is so high that the attack just gets the guy gangroasted, and finally he starts a business and becomes a famous vtuber/mangakatoonist. Normally no one would stand up for the villain, he'd quit his job and base his entire theme around royalty to compensate for his trauma.
