FROM unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest - including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. In season two, hidden truths about the nature and terrifying origins of the town begin to emerge, even as life for its residents is plunged into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers.

There's a popular theory in the FromTV reddit subgroup, of the From being a a spiritworld of a tarot game being played by an accused witch and a Beothuk devil. Maybe the tent was thrown around as the game board was being moved.

I LOVE your FROM episode breakdowns and theories! I've run through almost all of them and wanted to say that I enjoyed your interpretation. of the whole Jim Crow colonial era connections! I love how layered the show is and how many different theories and interpretation s there are - and equally how clueless I am as a viewer, I could see every one of the theories panning out somehow lol. love the show and love your work, you have the best aura!

I’ve noticed that mostly all the monsters have clothes more from the 50’s era. So maybe while the WHERE in time question is definitely a valid question but maybe it’s more a matter of WHY do they all look like they’re mostly from the fifties? Just food for thought 🤔

The crystal ball reminds me of a Snow Globe or mayve fish bowl since if you look closely at the top, there is either an opening or a line with either a spider or a boat

Jim is starting to really give off stronger "supplanter" vibes. Also, he's hanging like he's the prey of a monster spider. Shelob vibes! Also, he's in black. Bad sign. I really like his character and the actor, so I don't know if I'll ever see him as the bad guy.

I don’t at all believe that the voices are good and I don’t believe that she’s talking to Abby or that Abby is talking to her. I think the voices want them to stay there and I do believe there’s a quota on how many people can be there, so when the voices told her that she needed to kill the new people so that her brother wouldn’t die it was because her brother dying would mean he would need to be replaced.
