So when you teleport into air do you have the air around suddenly put in your lungs and the air in your lungs previously left where you were before? When does the air in your lungs stop being air? Would it also replace the air already in your cells? This whole scene makes no sense logically, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Like if he teleported it would have created a small implosion out of the vacuum he left behind and created a small explosion in the place he suddenly appeared. Not only that, if he were to magically keep form when intersecting with a pre-existing structure he would rapidly get cold due to the compression of two objects intersecting, where it would absolutely scramble his brain and he wouldn't even mentally exist anymore.

I remember when i was a kid i watched the movie 100 Million BC, and there was death much similar to Dale's, shortly, the squad of soldiers is sent back in time when dinosaurs have still walked the earth to save their teammates who stayed trapped there being sent before the help arrives. During the teleportation scene one of soldiers teleports into the tree in much similar way as Dale got teleported into a concrete.

What do you expect him to do? Kick wall with fists or I don't know what? It's clear that Dale is swallowed to that damn concrete, i mean when you look at it he is fused with it, he stands like texture on that wall and he's suffocating and it's clear that his death is just moments away. Boyd is in grief and horror, he wanted to set Dale free from his torment. Unfortunately there was no way to help him. Although Dale was ignorant and arrogant character i still don't believe that he or anyone else has deserved such a gruesome death. But people miss the point, you don't just get into something that is unknown and not explored like that. You can see the horror in Boyd's look when he watches Dale, he tries everything to get answers for others risking himself to keep everyone safe, and whenever someone's ignorant move costs someone's life it's Boyd that bares it.

The show is called 'From', this is from season 3. People continuously get trapped in a town seemingly in another dimension, and at night, monsters disguised as humans come out from the woods. If you're outside or your house doesn't have a protective talisman, they'll eat you, rip you apart, etc. There also seems to be weird anomalies surrounding them like this tree. The show adds more questions than it gives you any answers but it's definitely entertaining. Would recommend.
