Had a flash back whilst watching this, I used a runaway slave to train my characters combat stats and one day the slave broke out of their cage and almost completely wiped out my base, That is when I realized that when you train your character with only one enemy you also train that enemy

40:44 I feel the need to mention this little tidbit about the medic job while playing a solo character. When your character is playing dead and you have the medic job in the list. Said character will heal themselves while playing dead without alerting nearby enemies. The only downside is when you get into squad healing and they prioritize healing another pawn but not themself. Also you can cheese their attacks by pressing the hotkey 'R' by default which makes your character stop whatever they're doing. Just make sure to keep your characters moving at least at 6 mph or the trick backfires.

In my playthrough, I ended up capturing Lord Phoenix (My main character was a skeleton). I put him in a cage, then in a peeler and I removed all his limbs. Which I replaced with the weakest Hive prosthetics. And then I set him loose. Figured it was the absolute worst fate for him. Sadly the game didn't really acknowledge anything about it. I guess he still was the Lord of the Holy Nation 😂.

that is funny though. i wonder what would really happen though if u carried him dropped him off at their door. with those limbs. if they jailed him? i playing new playthrough with genesis hard mode or legendary. and omg. not lord phonix but his buddy came after me today. 13x stats across the board... and a buddy = stats and 10 inquisitors 90s stats... i was like uhmm no.......... i barely beat 1 squad and 4 inquisitors last time. i def not beating 2 squads and all that. re-load...... abandon base.. lol even after 2 days i see 1 squad still waiting in my base to come back.... so i gotta go get some lvls.

Kenshi is a unique game in a lot of ways, but the note around day 52 about the fights being satisfying to watch is one of my favorites. I can't really think of a game like it that goes quite as deep into making fights visually interesting by simply having animations that make sense and synch up for attacks. It's fun to watch my people block and dodge and swing and counterattack. It makes up for lack of complexity with verisimilitude. Which is to say it all looks right, and that makes the relatively simple system satisfying.

21:03 I actually once saw a guy fighting wildlife back many many years ago, he only wore some leather trouser's to cover up their humongus iron sack, that must have helped him face 2 boars barehanded. I was just on my way to help my father out in the fields but...From this moment on, I knew, I wanted to be like him. I trained hard, even defeated a single boar with only hands like him too, but lost an eye and an arm due to a viscous bear, catching me off guard in the wilds while I was resting from my intense training. I never became as good as him but I chose to carry on his way's by teaching other's the way to survive the wilderness barehanded.

1:05:00 if you really wanted to cheese the Leviathans for crossbow training, you can actually get them stuck on the geometry of the coast while you happily camp just outside of their attack range. Also, bring a toothpick since their arrows stack much higher and your XP gain is the same nonetheless.

beak thing territory is very good for lvls and money from the skins and even food for an entire army. Just make a shack with a bed and some chests. You will become redicilusly wealthy. You dont have to start with a strong char. Just get wounded retreat to the shack heal up and you will lvl up that way.
