A celebrated civil rights foot soldier and activist, Henrietta Antonin began working for the Atlanta Life Insurance Company in 1962. Founded by a formerly enslaved man, Alonzo Herndon, Atlanta Life began providing support to the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s. Antonin would rise to become an executive at Atlanta Life.
