You should not forget that this is just a selection. In the workshop is much, much more to be found. As far as i see that, there are builds for the most scifi-movies/-series out there. From small to titan. It´s allways the question, what your pc can handle. Additionaly there are mods for star wars and star trek weapons and sounds, even the effect of the warpjump from star trek. I love this game. But if starship evo continues with its improvements, it could become a serious threat to SE´s throne...

Probably made them all static grids for the video. Static grids are more performance friendly becasue they lose their Physics calculations (They stop being able to move and are not affected by Gravity or other forces)

@@elmarcus300 yeah, you can build a space station with 500k+ blocks and it behaves better than a 10k block ship I tend to build stations with warp drives when going large scale, I make them look like (and operable) like a actual ship, but never really use them cuz my pc cant handle it... I have a I5-10600K and a 1080 TI, yet large scales in SE kill my computer Pro tips if you also struggle with performance: Build large grid, make lights switchable, dont use a lot of ambient lights, use FULL blocks (avoid using e.g. the window that looks like stairs), build in static grids until its finished; And finally... never, for the love of god, never use rotors if its not ABSOLUTELY necessary (they create brutal lags, not to forget clang)

on top of what the others have mentioned, it likely also because Space engineers, has likely finished there work on making a ship be registered as 1 unit, so instead of counting each individual block, of each ship, it only counts each ship, as 1 unit per ship, so only 42 units, are being registered.

Flyable, and there was 3 ships that i already used and they have a lot of functionalities like, missiles, an hangar, storage rooms etc, its a beautiful game and you need to try it!

Took me up until the big ships to start recignizing ships. The only small ones before the star destroyer was the cobra 3 and federal corvette from elite dangerous and the halo ships. Everything else i didnt know. Oh the serenity as well

I'm currently making a ship larger than all of these. Completely self sustainable, can jump extremely long distances, A heavy/light weight infused chassis with dubbed "super heavy" armor plating. Every block will be strategically placed, a COMPLETELY INVULNERABLE conveyor system for both Oxygen/Hydrogen, and Uranium. Back ups for everything, A hanger for larger ships. Multiple hangers for smaller and medium ships. Living quarters, A storage room bigger than half the ships on here, Omnidirectional assorted weapon systems, Auto-Function and AI compatibility, Customized decor, and more. The big parts of this ship are the armor, strategic placement and flawless conveyor system. These functions have already been tested. The conveyor system still operates at 100% - 90% capacity even if 50% of its conveyors were removed, both at random and strategically taken out. While the strategic placement of every single block with the combination the multi-layered light/heavy weight chassis makes it even stronger than a ship made out of nothing but heavy armor. I've spent nearly 180 hours working on this ship and it's not even half way done (I'd estimate somewhere between 37% and 45% complete). Just something I thought I'd say. I'm not well known, if at all in the SE community so I thought I'd put myself out there. As it does use mods, I'm not 100% sure if I'll add it to the steam workshop but who knows!

Missing a Retribution class battle ship from warhammer 40k it’s about 8km long I believe also it’s not a titan ship those are Gloriana class battle ships they range from 19km to 30km depending on which one it is

Well they are big but the mega ship i built on that game is large enough to land the smaller ships inside it. Also have dropped in and lvled bases that took months to build after looting them with me squad. We never stay in one place long
