That was a gorgeous place to go to and unwind! I’m glad your daughter got her birthday wish! She’s a cutie and so sweet! 🥰 She was genuinely worried about you when you dropped stuff around midpoint in the video. I’m still in love with your greenhouse and I too love the sound of rain hitting the roof! ☺️

Hi Peachy luv your plant tent. Did hubby build it ftom scratch or was it a kit? I wouldld luv to have one. I see your family can cozy up in it. Resl nice. I was getting discouraged when i lost 8 hoyas suddenly in 3 months! So I'll be checking my wishlist to try some new ones. Thanks for sharing as always. Dee, NY

Hello Dee, the greenhouse was just a kit off of Amazon. My husband built most of it. It is definitely serving me well! I love it. 🥰

Love this video! I have such poor luck with pon 😢 I rooted my Alocasia scalprum in fluval stratum and it had a huge and healthy root system before I transferred it into pon in a self-watering wick system in ambient. The leaves all fell off in two weeks and the roots are completely rotted.. any tips on stopping the rot from pon happening? Is there not enough airflow or light in ambient? I’m also in the bay area
@plantandstylewithpeachy2 күн бұрын
Hi, where in the Bay Area are you? I am so sorry about your scalprum. 😕 I think it is an Alocasia problem as they don’t like being disturbed in general. I struggle with them and that’s why I don’t have the guts to feature them yet. But here’s what I would do. Did you save anything of the scalprum? If you have its rhizome, root it back in Fluval again but this time add pon at the bottom of the pot so when it roots, it will root into the pon. This way, you will only need to shake off the fluval and just add more pon. Be careful not to mess with the roots that grew in pon. Best of luck 🤞☺️💚

I called myself looking but I didn't see it I might Overlook it and I'm sorry. But I was wondering could you do something on propagating Hoyas. I have tiny cuttings and I'm having a hard time trying to get them to root and I might not be doing it right. Could you please help me?
@plantandstylewithpeachy4 күн бұрын
Of course, if you could dm me a photo on Instagram, I can probably help you better. If not, have you tried using Fluval Stratum? It is the best I have tried for rooting all kinds of cuttings. I also have some propagation videos under Hoya Care title that might help. 💚

Are you still using the pon you mixed in your video 8 mos ago? You used a bag of rocks you bought on Amazon. I just ordered the same products and was wondering if it was successful. Thanks

Yesss, my monstera Albo is thriving in it. I just found a bulk supply of lava and pumice that makes it cheaper for me. 💚🙏
@beatrizcastro11042 күн бұрын
Ok. I’m afraid I won’t use the correct ratio of rocks, pumice etc. thank you! Love your channel ❤
@plantandstylewithpeachy2 күн бұрын
@@beatrizcastro1104thank you so much. ❤ I love the 4 part pumice, 2 lava rock and 1 zeolite ratio. It also seems like it is a popular ratio that I have seen others use.
