That GM Intermediate Chassis's official designation is "A-Body", G-Body wasn't resurrected until 1981.

This is correct however the chassis from 78-88 is the same chassis, referred to as a G-Body chassis or metric chassis. In the muscle car world and product production world most count this as part of the G-Body platform.

I’m glad to see that you are continuing the build, but going with an LS and Ford 9 inch is a little disappointing. I understand why folks do it, but it’s overdone and isn’t a particularly interesting combo anymore

Ls swap boring. Should have rebuilt and power adder on original engine. Ls is about played out. Like the suspension series

Chad, unfortunately that isn't what we do at UMI. We aren't an engine shop or even a car building shop, we are a suspension manufacturer designing and building high quality suspension products. These cars are test vehicles for us and the videos are designed to help our customers understand where the products go and how the products work. While a built 260ci with power adders would be a cool video, it isn't what we do. Thanks for watching.
