Kurt came to Amsterdam to play for NFL Europe. I was shooting photos for the Admirals. After a game, he and I were walking up six flights or so to the press conference. I complimented his passing that game and he quickly deflected this to his "O" line. I knew I was in the presence of a great player, right there, reminding me of Terry Bradshaw who I met back in 1983.

Kurt Warner's greatest accomplishment was taking the Arizona Cardinals to the Superbowl. He had one bad pass that cost them the win, but he and Fitz, and Bolden were total studs. They should have won that game, and its a shame that they will not be remembered as time goes on. That team was bad ass. And it was the Arizona Cardinals, always know as a doormat in the nfl.

Kurt Warner's story puts to shame any Disney movie from when Disney was good at making movies.
@MrRedfoxx1989Ай бұрын
12:58 I think from interviews/stories, it was the center’s fault, but Kurt took the blame and never ratted out the center. The head coach saw that and gained respect for Kurt as did the tough OC, with it being a test. His teammates also respected him for it. It shows his leadership abilities.

This is just NOZ CORRECT: the step into the NFL-Europe and playing for Amsterdam made the Rams curious, NOT Arena Football! Leaving such an important fact out is like trying to change history, because Warner MADE HISTORY!!!
@orwoodwellson685Ай бұрын
they did it for story comprehension, like how Brenda gave Kurt Zach's letter when he was in Arizona, not St Louis. No need to complicate things with an NFL Europe subplot when the point of "Kurt was playing minor league football before the NFL" is executed without adding new characters
@Christian-m5c1eАй бұрын
Nobody starts out playing football, he was persistent and didnt give up, not that hard to do. Underachievers try to make it look hard. You"ll have to excuse me, the difficulty of my life has blinded me making me think all else it a walk in the park. Yes, its hard to get in the NFL. But not that hard if a Bagby can make it. Lol

In this video he talks about KURT WARNER,trying to get into the NFL, but it's a very long road, but I remember years ago when I was working at a lumber yard,and I helped make A frames for houses,and one guy I was talking to told me that he couldn't find a job, so he took this job instead and I asked him what does he do actually, and he told me that he was playing for the WFL,but the league folded, so I told him to tryout for a NFL team and he was black, very muscular, about 250 pounds, and very quiet type of person, but the chances of getting into the NFL is about 1%,which really is not reasonable, and your chances are next to nothing, but that's why many NFL players have a college degree, in case they don't make any NFL team. It's something to fall back on.Very understandable.
@carlosesquivel3931Ай бұрын
Average NFL career is like, what, 3-4 years? They need the degree for sure.

I met Kurt at a shopping mall in LA. He was rude to my kid and he hit on my wife. When i asked him, "why are you being such a jerk?" He told me his whole life was "a lie." He wished Trent Green would of got hurt sooner, and Dick Vermeil was alot like Jerry Sandusky
