Thanks ICR! God's word provides PERSPICUITY. Darwinism leaves people with ambiguity.

@@refuse2bdcvd324 Darwinism? That's an old term, don't you think? Darwinism is not synonymous with evolutionary theory / the modern synthesis. You're comparing God's word to Darwinism? Do you know that evolutionary biology is not religion of course, so why would you think it's supposed to leave people with.. anything? It's just how nature works. It's not a worldview or a lifestyle or something like that.

@@Mark-h2s you said darwinism is not synonymous with the modern synthesis, but didn't point out the difference(s). You said evolutionary biology is not a religion? Are you saying you don't BELIEVE you evolved from pond scum?

It was the miracle of Jesus turning water to wine that completed my turn to the full belief of the literal six days of creation as the Holy Spirit confronted me with the question of how long it would take me to make wine? The Lord made it with just a word "fill these jugs with water and have the steward taste it".... later the same illumination on how long it took to make fully grown ready to eat fish and bread to feed thousands with leftovers... I would like to interject some clarity of the later statement Tim made on God seeing the end from the beginning. God doesn't just see the end from the beginning but actually declared the end from the beginning. If He only saw the end and reported it then He is not God. His purpose statement from the beginning was/is to create man in His image and He has not deviated from that purpose which will be completed when we become like Him seeing Him for who He is. ( 1 John 3:2) In the mean time all things work together in the lives of believers to conform us into the image of our Creator. ( Romans 8:28-29 ) Which has been His purpose from the beginning.

Amen. Genesis 1:26 is not God creating man, it's God declaring his plan to restore already fallen man back to God's inage and likeness. The Scriptures say, "let us make man" indicating that each aspect of the Godhead would have a part in restoring fallen man. Genesis 1:26 KJV - And *God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:* and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Thanks ICR. Science is not equal to the Bible but it does help to prove the Bible is true in what it says.

I like the way Jim Warner Wallace puts it. When it comes to Christianity, you can either be accidentally right or evidentially right. The benefit of being evidentially right is that not only does it strengthen your faith, but it allows you to make logical arguments that can go a long way in convincing people that Christianity is true.

It's a belief. Speaking of theories.. *scientific theories* are the highest level of explanation in science. Scientific theories can even incorporate scientific laws. In other words, in science, a law is not 'above' a theory. Also, scientific theories do not eventually 'become' something else.

@ What’s really sad is that anyone could be tricked into believing evolution is real even a possibility. Think about it 🤔 You don’t have millions of years … you have the lifespan of a single cell.…24 hours maybe! And everything plants and animals have to happen at the same time in the same mud puddle!! Male and female have to happen in the same few years in exactly the same spot on this big planet. 🌎. Add to that mutations generally weaken the animal. The whole idea is insane and impossible.

Isaiah 46:10 KJV - *Declaring the end from the beginning,* and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: God declares the end from the beginning in his Holy Scriptures and the beginning and end of those Scriptures should match up like bookends. If they don't, then you don't understand the Scriptures. For instance at the end we see there will be no more a sea. So, in the beginning we should not see a sea. The Garden account of Genesis 2-3 only matches up as a bookend, not Genesis 1. The Garden account is the bookend beginning.

I am not the equall to any of these Godly men, nor am i a gambler as the world would describe one. However, i'd bet the Holy Bible NEVER uses the word 'fantastic'. Our english word 'fantastic' is where we derive 'fantasy'. None for me, thanks.
