I know of a few issues that might be causing the Bloodthirster to act oddly. Air density was changed for Neter, as the atmosphere was extended to 750m from 500m. This means that the rate at which air density scales has changed so your PID may have been fine tuned to the conditions of a particular altitude which has changed. Another issue is that APS recoil was reworked, it now punishes spam guns heavily on account of using a refresh system for the hydraulics. Something that could be impacting the World Eater's CJEs is that the fuel injector was buffed to be stronger, so they should be outputting more thrust than normal. You should not have changed the Warlord's PACs to piercing. They were specifically designed to use impact, as the damage propagation allows it to utterly obliterate every block in the zone that's been hit. This makes it one of the best AA units among faction designs, as small aircraft just disappear when fired upon.

No they actually haven't. Before the latest update the pumps stated that they used 80 power, but this was a mistake and they used 100. If the laser system on the Bloodthirster worked before then it shouldn't be causing any issues.

(I'm new to this but whatever) log #01: since I became an engineer for the blood guard I always had a sense of pride seeing ships I worked on make out foes run for the hills, my workload also has been steadily increases just the other day I had to repair a captured ship that went by the name "warlord" and I have to say it's remarkable how much abuse that thing took it looked like it should have defeated about 25 shells before the last one, I can honestly understand the need for capturing this ship it's it's the most durable bullet sponge I've ever seen, unlike the grey talons bases which in reports were trees, They! Were! Trees! I'm honestly questioning if those were jokes or they were dead serious, just how were they able to build the warlord without knowing how to build a proper base has me curious, but with the tree huggers out of the way we're preparing for another war, I have thought of bringing forth an idea of a dumb fire missile with lots of things to attract other missiles so when we go up against enemies that spam missiles we can turn their strength into their downfall

yes the Thyr is really impressive one of the largest ships in the game, but I think the scarlet dawn still have the single most RP ship which is 823k if I'm not mistaken.

Some of their ships are designed in the WWII style, and some of their ships are named after WWI ships -- they have a missile cruiser called the Kitakami, which shares little in common with its namesake except for missile spam, and the SS Kitakami uses air torpedus [sic] as opposed to the IJN Kitakami's water torpedus. The SS Kitakami also has a catapult fighter, which the IJN Kitakami did not have. Also the Steel Striders have the Thyr.

I think they upped the power draw for lasers so it might be over taxing it and causing the jet engines to lose power. Edit: watching the power bar on the Worldeater greatly supports this theory. It's just less effected because it also uses CJE's for altitude and stabilization.

I think Lathrix's laser systems were always like that. He just never kept track of how many pumps he was using, which you really need to do when it comes to lasers, as you can quickly have them sapping all of your power.

You may be right, I just always remember the tooltip saying 80 power draw and now it says 100. They may have done that I'm an earlier patch and I didn't see it. The biggest problem is probably the fact the GeneralAltitude PID is broken ( found it was't working on one of my hovers).

I was thrown off by the laser pump tooltip at one point too, but that was just an error. The power draw was always 100 since the compaction buff lasers got last year.

nope, you will notice that he has batteries which produce "just" enough power, making the power bar look empty, but in reality all systems have power.

Harbinger Autumn log# 1570: Our satellite scans have given us Intel on the state of the primitive Gray Talons. Their war against the Legion has not gone well as the last tribe leader's head now hangs in the clutches of the "World Eater". Now that our hated enemy is dead I have begun thinking that we should put our new craft to great use against the Striders but command has denied it as we may need all the craft we can get against the onslaught of the legion. But now i do not think Lathrix is going to let us get the land we desperately want as he has gone the nuclear option again against a White Flayer resistance force. Now he has direct access to the Striders and I believe he will attack them. Now we must wait as another faction goes King less and we may also loose Neter and i may loose my head in front of the Scarlet Dawn high council.

Some lore for ya kiddies (and lathrix) The TG are two large and sentient AI factories, eros and thanatos. They were sent by the scarlet dawn to make ships for them, but when eros crashed she malfunctioned and gained sentience, she tried to contact thanatos and managed to free him from his core programing. Together they formed the twin guard, thanatos has sworn to protect eros and eros gives him guidance and love. The steel striders are the remnants of the steel empire, they lost alot during the civil war (WF, LH, OW, DWG) They tried to rebuild from the ashes and now stand strong.

The Tyr is the largest ship of the Steel Striders today. The massive dreadnought has 3 500mm triple advanced cannons, as well as various vertical launch systems and torpedoes. Its volume is just above 40000.

One thing in this update that i hate is the new sounds. Laser sounds like kids toy laser gun. Particle cannon lost its power, like there is no more the thunder when powerfull shot is fired (i think), and the engines are taken from formula 1 cars.

Lathrix, I've been doing some tests as I've been playing. Air Card + PID seems to have issues right now, the main one I've seen is it's response to terrain ( under or above the ocean surface ). I managed to get something flying ok when it was over deep ocean but as it got near land it started flying really low, ignoring the min/cruise altitude, then it'd either dive into the ocean or land below. Mainly it seems like it's having a trouble with altitude, I tried adding an altitude PID too but it made no difference to the issue. hope this gives more insight to the issues you're having!

Heh, spinal Particle cannons aren't fit to kill small targets. Specially since you switched it to piercing. If you had them on Impact it'd spread the damage all over the small craft surface, with piercing it just does a tiny hole through it.

So, from personal testing with particle cannons.. Explosive is actually pretty alright, all things considered. If you use the lenses for the PACs and, say, have a couple that fire in a slightly staggered way, you'd probably be alright. Plus, you can get some pretty decent range on them while still being beefy enough to do a good chunk of damage. ..For reference, a small overclocked PAC I tested this with recently, just using the explosive mode and four lenses of ~30 tube length and two or three overclock was making some pretty nice holes with the explosive. Even did a good number on a Bulwark I was testing against at low damage/low attenuation.

The WArlord with EMP and Explosive shock on the Particle cannons are really effective, 2 cannons set to EMP and the other 4 set to explosive can make quick work with thier absurd damage they have per shot, provided they hit.

Well done on killin the Talons! I personally hvae never gotten so far in an FtD campaign before running out of patience :p Next up SS! Watch out for the Thyr in particular, probably the strongest traditional surface ship available in the game, and the strongest LAMS you'll see yet. Seeing how you've done so far, I don't think with two of your big converted monstrosities you'll have any problems. Other notable guys include the Cezar, and Bullshark, both of which once they get their guns on target (they probably won't though) can spam pretty well. You shouldn't have much problems with the other SS designs.

Lathrix, I mentioned it on the last video, but I got to it late so I wouldn't be surprised if you missed it-- pretty sure the Warlord is based on the Despoiler-class battleship from 40k, the most famous of which is the Terminus Est. If you give it a non-Khornate alignment, dedicating it to Nurgle would give you a mini-Terminus Est. It'd be grand.

Ozan S If cannot make a proper advance cannons is due to many things, the most important are what tipe of cannon you are making, what tipe of doctrine are you using (for examples, bigger is better or fast small and cheap crafts, because using the wrong cannon on the wrong ship/aircraft/tank can impact negatively on the performance) and what tipe of turret are you building (for examples, a small AA-turret with a 5m attachment, to be fast at tracking enemy aircraft or a big heavily armored turret with a 500mm).
