Heya, heard you mentioned quick shots being deflected by the Eyrie's shields. Shell velocity no longer affects the chance of shields deflecting anything, generally making faster shells a lot more feasible while nerfing shield projectors quite heavily.

Quick super-ship idea: massive juggernaut, fully shielded and armored. Either bristling with guns or unarmed, whichever you prefer. Able to submerge, hover, and just sail. Not at all practical, I know. Or, make a superlaser. As many damage increasing modules as you can have. All the laser ship contains are batteries and movement. It could possibly drop turrets down too. Or artillery on the top, so like a creeping barrage

My mortars are even worse. Sometimes they can't hit a Bulwark. A couple of times they managed to hit a flying squirrel.

Mortars are inaccurate because detection errors get compounded over the shell's flight (the shells home in on the firing solution the cannon aimed for, not the actual target). Lath builds with automatic detection enabled, so there are no detection errors to begin with. If he uses these mortars in campaign, they'll be much less effective.

One of my favorite things to attempt everytime there's a big update and all my designs need to be update is: building a relatively unassuming ship, fast as all get-out, maybe one or 2 cram cannons, no big topside firepower.....but it is RIDDLED with torpedo turrets and launchers under the waterline and underside of the ship. I'd love to see him build something like that! "Oh look a ship!" "Ah it's not very threatening, see those puny turrets? 2 guns in total, not a big threat." "Yeah...yeah you're right.......uh.............is that like 30 torpedoes in the water? WTF!!!"

Hey lathtrix,robocraft is somewhat enjoyable now, because they got rid of that boosts things where the smaller your robot was the more boosts it had,so everyone was Just making annoying nano bots , but they got rid of this!so now the gameplay is almost like back in the "leveling" series (NOT leveling AND LOOTING),but of course there a lot of new weapons and items,and now there are 6 tiers (if you consider tier 0 as a tier),so now the matchmaking is based on tiers and not CPU like it was before,but sadly the tiers only aply to weapons and items,not blocks,but there are new block types,like a more heavy and a more light block,i think you should play a little bit off camera and decide if you want to make a series,sadly not everyone knows about that so some matches have bots (idk if this is still happening because the latest robocraft videos are from 1 month ago and i dont have a PC to actually check out the game)

I think a way to tie the bridge in would be to remove the two upper layers then off the front corners, build a pair of back swept "arms" that surround the missiles and avoid the mortor barrels. Have the front slightly overhang the railgun turret/connect to each other over it. As for looks, angle it up sharply at the front about three blocks then give it a short flat section before slowly tapering it down into the side armor at the back of the bridge.

Kinda wanna see a campaign where lath gets one vehicle to start and just has to keep upgrading and expanding on it to be able to destroy all foes. He would be able to use things like fighter jets and such, as they would be considered a weapon in and of themselves, but no additional fleet forces. Dunno if this is possible or not- not that familiar with FTD, but I just want to see the resulting monstrosity at the end.

I have a handful of ideas, most if not all of which are pretty damn stupid: - A zeppelin-type airship that gets its lift entirely from helium pumps - A walking vehicle using the Walker Foot block - A vehicle equipped with a shotgun-type weapon, made by setting a frag or HEAT shell to detonate very shortly, if not immediately, after being fired - A vehicle using the PAC Melee Lens - A spaceship that carries drop pods. You climb into one of the pods, launch it, and arrive on the battlefield in style. Like respawning, but fancier and way less practical. - A transformer that, using the power of spin block magic/Warp-fuckery, can turn from one kind of vehicle into an entirely different kind of vehicle. The more moving parts, the better!

Yo Lathland, my friend and I just found out something really cool, they are gonna add Nuclear power to the game. We just figured this out when my friend and I were playing and we looked up Nuclear bomb trying to find it and instead we found parts like “Nuclear Control Rod” and “Nuclear engine core” and “Nuclear Material” look it up in the search bar, it’s nowhere to be found in the build menu and it won’t let you place anything but it’s there

Challenge for the next boat: 1. Use the pre-made, but you can’t build over XX blocks above the pre-made hull 2. Have at least 2 of the various weapon types, cram/mortar, advanced, missile/torp, laser/munition defence/particle. Have fun with that one :)

If you need help with bridges, go look at some actual ones. The WWI-II large ship bridges look pretty neat. Lots of angles to give the guns as much of a firing arc as possible. If you want some really funky water physics, max out the wave height to four then turn up to max weather.

The engine goes on the floor of the ship, the propeller goes under the tail of the ship as well the rudder goes on the end where the propeller is( that's the easiest place to put it). I love how it's looking but I would suggest you google some pictures on ships propulsion. Love your vids and keep them up.

I'm aware of that but I was just using the gap given by the hull as I wanted to keep editing the hull itself to a minimum, the other issue is that the center of mass was waaaaay too high up due to the prefab size issue so putting the propulsion lower would cause it to massively pitch upwards which is a big issue since pitch PID was broke at the time of recording. In other builds I have the propulsion far lower with the center of mass, but in this case it just wasn't an option - the engine powering it was also attached in the prefab so couldn't be separated as I wasn't altering prefabs as per the rule of the episode. Also long answer is long.. :p
