Windy city, windy approach. Kudos to you for staying with it👍. I would have thrown up and passed out on the initial descent. I hate turbulence. Lol

@MrGriff305 The Houston Metropolitan area is actually larger in size at about 10,000 sq miles. Chicago's metropolitan area being at 9,581 sq miles. DFW being comparable at 9,286 sq miles.
@blackhole99619 ай бұрын
@MrGriff305 well you did say "size." If were talking metropolitan region population Chicago is more populous at around 9.46 million people DFW 7.6 million and Houston 7.1 million. They are less populous by not so huge of a margin, but are still major cities in their own right. Things are also quickly changing, especially for DFW projected to take Chicagos place sometime in the 2030s or 2040s.
@blackhole99619 ай бұрын
@MrGriff305 By population, yes the Chicago area is larger, but your making it seem as if its by a huge margin. Also actual square miles are important metrics that can define a city. Also if your talking about the Chicago loop/downtown central business district compared to Dallas or Houston, it's pretty much comparable in the physical land area it takes up as they are all around the same size. only main difference is the amount of high rises it has. And the amount of "big buildings" don't really define a city's size. The actual populations of these downtown areas are relatively small in comparison to the greater area Chicago: around 24 thousand Dallas: around 11 thousand (Dallas is pretty comparable proportionally speaking considering Dallas [city limits] has about half the population of Chicago [city limits]) Houston: around 10 thousand (a bit more of an anomaly as it's population is close to Chicago's, but sense it's basically a giant suburb like the rest of the sunbelt cities it's more understandable)
