Eugene knows Izzy is a way better fighter than Pereira. The differentiating factor in their success is focus and discipline. We have one fighter who remains sober and focused no matter what while the other still thinks he can get ways with the things he used to in he’s early twenties. If Izzy cuts out drinking and the party life and focuses on his craft, Pereira ain’t got nothing on him.

As a long time fan of Izzy , even I have to admit this. I also think it's the reason he lost to Sean. Sean lives in the gym everyday, whereas Izzy only trains for camps. Periera was back in the gym days after he won against Jiri. I'm not saying Izzy isn't hungry anymore...but his appetite for fighting and winning is situational and certainly hindered by his lifestyle. It's just obvious
