The one in the 1999 WC final was an absolute beauty too. The best slip catcher ever, I would rate him slightly above Carl Hooper. Both look so casual and at ease in the slips, but I've seen Hooper drop a few. I can't recall Junior ever dropping a catch.

One of his best which isn't shown here is one against England in 1997 when he caught Mark Ealham off Paul Reiffel at Headingley. Possibly the best slip catch I've seen. Even as an Englishman I applauded that.

Yes...the running script with the tail is fairly common in baseball but the collared style with cuffs and long sleeves is not seen in baseball. They wear a short sleeve heavy jersey with long sleeve undershirt.
