I had the honour of meeting Ustad Hussain Baksh Gullo (UHBG), in a Bakery, in Samanabad, Lahore, one Sunday morning, about a 11/12 years or so ago . Also had the honour of dropping him to his place in Rustam Park, a nearby vicinity. He was a very humble and down to earth man. He honoured me with a visit to my office during which I played Dr Satindar Sartaj's 'Sain' on my laptop for him. Satindar was then in his initial period of fame and not very well known, here . UHBG had not listened to Satindar Sartaj earlier but he was full of praise for his grip over singing, composing and poetry. He predicted a very bright future for him then. Unfortunately, I was not able to meet him again which I regret. He was a living legend and a very humble and down to earth man. His departure is a great loss for music industry. May Allah bless him with Jannah.
