I recommend you to learn the cases on your own, it's not such a big deal. you can look them up on grammar sites and take notes, and Duolingo is a great way to practice them. Good luck!

It's easy (ima russian): Genitive: Кого? Птиц[ы] (Птица - bird) Чего? Вишн[и] (Вишня - cherry) Words with endings O and Ё doesn't change, bcuz it's neuter Instrumental: Кем? Друг[ом] (Друг - friend), пап[ой] и мам[ой] (Мама и папа - mom and dad) Чем? Вишн[ей] (Вишня - cherry) Чем?

Finally here hahah.. btw Daria can u explain more in the future about : 1) the use of Учить on when to use it as learning/teaching ? 2) The use of different colour on what kind of situation ?
