very nice video. thank you for sharing. Beautiful sound. I used to ride a K Setra s228dt often when I was a teenager and enjoyed every minute of the ride.

This was the last time i rode this beauty, than it was sold away from my area; if it was still around I would have made more and better videos. I loved the sound and the power of this 492 CV version, a lot different from the 375 CV one. :-)

The sound is really beautiful! Now in 2020, here in Germany are still 2 Setra S 228 DT's alive. In Italy there are some more alive in 2020 or?

In Italy since 2019 bus with Euro 0 emissions can't be in service anymore. Hundreds of italian Setra 200 and Mercedes O303 with various bodyworks were exported in Africa and Middle-East in the past couple of years. Speaking of 228s, there are still in service some with Euro 1 emissions, but very few; and there are some not in service with Euro 0 emissions (not exported or scrapped yet).

@@FromPowerCity Tank you for your answer. That's a pity. What is with the Euro 0 busses from other countries that are travelling for a few days in Italy? Are they also forbidden? Tanks for your answer:-)

@@nick23x8 i think they are forbidden too, but this low was mainly for italian buses; with Euro 0 emission even if in good condition they would fail the annual inspection in Italy. Of course there are exeptions for storic buses but they can't be used on normal services.
