I thought El Paso weather was unpredictable, but snow in June is crazy awesome! 😁 Glad that didn't stop you guys from exploring the area you visited. A Canada bike tour sounds so cool. Stay safe & thank you for sharing your excursion with us 💕 Safe travels, Yvonne 🥰

We were staying in the Two Medicine campground June 14 - 21 this year. We had 2 days of off and on snow probably when you were in Montana. Very refreshing for us, since we rarely experience it in Auburn, Alabama.

Oh yes, it would be nice for some refreshing cool temps now.

Great to see you make a stop at Montana Wheat. They are a great wheat producer and if I can get my local Hillside Grain flour ( Bellevue, Idaho) I go with Montana Wheat flour! The store looks like fun and had lots of yummy items! Safe travels.

Gillette, Wy. is where my high school friend lives in the Summer/Fall, then she and her husband go to Az. for the Winter/Spring. I use her driveway when passing through on any trips out that way. There's a free dump station at the city park. Last time I was in S. Dakota I stayed at Wind Caves Nat. Park, loved watching the buffalo there. The Canadian trip sounds fun, looking forward to seeing your video in 2 weeks. Enjoy!

Unfortunately, Wind Cave is closed this summer. But we will be back.
@always.wondering.wandering5 ай бұрын
@@FromShetoMe Just the cave tours but the campground is open and you can still drive through and see the buffalo. But, yes, go back again later if you want to do the cave tour.

Great video! We live in Idaho Falls, Idaho so your video covers a lot of what we consider to be home territory. We are Airstreamers. And yes the weather has been a real challenge this year. It is now 100+ during the day. The last time we stayed at Lewis and Clark it was very hot and we couldn’t get an electric spot, it wasn’t fun. One last thing as you are heavy into the bicycles. Do you know about the Tour Divide (2700 miles from Banff, Canada to the Mexican border, off road bikepacking). Our grandson is about 175 miles from completing it and should do so late tomorrow. He started on the 14th of June. The first person to finish this year did it in about 13.5 days. Safe travels!!

We were watching Ryan Van Duzer at the start of that race but he had to quit. We’d have a tough time driving that distance in 2 weeks. Your grandson is a stud.

Thank you! I have a question about a few of the clothing items you choose. Knowing you, too, have to fold clothes while considering space and wrinkles (?), is there a go-to brand and fabric you prefer? I can’t wear polyester, so that limits me. I can wear nylon and maybe a blend of polyester and another fabric. You have a black pair of pants I’ve seen you wear on more recent videos that I really like. They may be considered cropped or capri…? Hope that helps. We have the same taste in clothing and are probably about the same build and size. Any info would be appreciated.
@FromShetoMe5 ай бұрын
@@rmpenning7541 Those were a store brand from REI. Unfortunately they don’t carry them any more. I only buy pants that have a pocket for a phone which can limit the options. Light weight wool is a great option for tops. The better sporting goods stores carry my favorite brands like Kuhl, Prana, Toad, some Carhardt pants I have liked but must be on the thinner side. I typically will squeeze the fabric and hold it for a bit to see if it wrinkles.
