For some of us, it is the beat, the rhythm session and the bass line that make this song so memorable. The bass line is best enjoyed over your ear or headphone or on a good stereo system. The melody is nice but it's just one line being repeated the whole time. This is a rare song that became popular even though the melody is just one single line sung without variation!!!

When I was a child every time I hear this song on radio I get so excited. I’m Ghana at that time my step dad normally fix the radio on Radio Gold and they played it almost every morning. It really sparked my creative engine. Today I’m listening to it with so many memories to reminisce on. I now have a family and it makes me feel time wasted for no man. Can someone explain it to me.
