I don't think they're directly comparable. Front 242 being the pioneers of EBM(or industrial dance if you're Canadian) and Front Line Assembly being the pioneers of Electro Industrial.

Overall, 242 were more inherently original. Skinny Puppy as well. Reznor, Front Line Assembly, et. al. are good, very but they're not as original. More like extenders of a sound.
