Front Differential Regear | it DID NOT go as planned

Welcome back to the SECOND video on the 3 part series of the 4.56 regear and upgraded drivetrain of the Honduzu! In this episode (long story short) swap in a 4.56 3rd member from a Trooper that JD and our buddy Nick picked up for me at a local pick-a-part. But that wasn't the full story, it did NOT all go to plan. Also, please note I have also done some upgrades to the front axle area as well. Check out this parts list!

Hey Eric what happens is brackets are completely different among years and models. I’ll leave the different bracket models for anyone trying to swap them around. -81-87 isuzu pup and 84-86 isuzu trooper -87 isuzu trooper (one year only brackets) -88-91 isuzu trooper, 89-92 isuzu amigo and 91-92 isuzu rodeo -92-02 isuzu trooper, 93-97 isuzu rodeo and vehicross -98-02 isuzu rodeo/amigo/rodeo sport and isuzu axiom. Good thing you got it all sorted out tho 🤙🏻

Wow, Im a fan. Ive been trying to replace the ball joints on my 99 Passport and I cant get the lower one off. Your videos help alot.

So im currently doing the same thing ro my 95' rodeo, /w d44. I already have the r&p for the d44 and im trying to get my hands on a trooper 3rd member. Was the pinion flange bold a different width compaire ld to the trooper or was it just a different flange style.

Awesome! It was the same bolt pattern, the flange was just a different shape.
