I just replaced my nose and removed the inner airbox and had it sandblasted. Was so worth it. Only 10 spot welds holds it to the A pillars. So if you have the entire thing from a donor you can easily replace it.

yeah I do have another one. it is not perfect either so I will have to figure out which way to go. I might customize it for 2 AC blowers.

I am a lil behind in watching this video, but I just did and it is a great one to match all the others. I appreciate all the video and explaining you do, it does help me with my bus.I know in this video the nose is only sitting on there but it looks so goo I'm definitely looking forward to part 2. The "new toy" is that for stripping paint/primer? Anyway I am glad you are still making videos and do them the way you do you have a definite happy subscriber here. :)

Thank you so much. taking a few week break but editing now. Lots of interesting stuff coming. Some is going to blow peoples minds with the crazy Ideas I have. The laser is a friend of mines but I hope to buy one soon. Yes it strips paint, rust, wood finishes, just about anything to the substrate with no damage, consumables or mess. They are pretty neat.

My #1 fan. Yes I am just taking a little break. My kids are home from college and we are spending extra time together while I have them home. I also have been pretty bummed about the view count on the bus videos. Ironically this one has done better than most. But we are exploring ways to make them better and more interesting. My middle daughter is studying film and cinematography so hoping she an shed some light onto the dim situation. We are also filming for a new channel focusing on my ceramics (which was actually why I started this channel in 2009) But really the main reason was I felt I did not have much new content and it was getting repetitive. I have been working hard on the crazy front beam and suspension design. All 3d cad modeled. So new episodes coming soon. Thank you so much for your interest. Do I know you personally? -James

@@SpiralDesignWorks No, not personally. Just ran across these videos and always thought it would be cool to do a body dropped bus. To my awareness, you’re the only person doing KZbin VW bus body drop. I find it crazy that you’re not getting the viewership that I thought you would. I have a 68 Bus on AirRide but I’d like to go lower ( story of my life) 😆
