Front panel Mod on NZXT H440 Razer Edition

We did something similar before on a Phanteks Enthoo Evolve ITX Panels, now we made it on a NZXT H440 Razer Edition front panel.
Not only it gives better airflow, but also some fancy aesthetics to your setup :) (worried on the dust that will pass through the large holes of the mesh? don't worry,the case itself has a filter ;) )

I channeled out a gap on the top edge of the front panel to match the bottom and removed the acoustic foam in front of the fans to increase the airflow hopefully when I use my trusty H440 in an upgraded i7 10700k build. Anything to improve the airflow! But I really want to added a larger side panel with acrylic and then the case would really be complete.

I love it. Now I am going to have to do something similar. Might do the top too. I like the look of the case but these newer components need more airflow then this case really gives, and though it is meant to be a silent case my fans have to run at full blast all the time so it is still not the loudest computer I have ever had you can tell the fans are struggling. I may also look into replacing the dark tinted side window. That thing is so dark they almost might as well just not even put a window and I have no plans on putting so many leds in there that I can actually see stuff as I prefer more of a subtle lighting rather then full disco RGB. Though for some reason my front logo led is not working right now. I know I did something to turn it off years ago but cant remember what or how. The back button cycles though everything but does not turn it back on.

Damn, those rotary cuts are no joke. I might just ditch the SECC steel panel and cut-out the plastic panel for better airflow. I’m not sure if I want to spend the time and cutting wheels to open up the steel panel with my Dremel or buy a 15 USD jig saw that I’ll only use once… Update: Using the poorly cut-out plastic panel.

Masking tape, protect the surface po..plus iwas deep cut/chip off ng paint habang kinacut po yung metal. :) then makes it easy to draw on it kesa sa mismong surface ng metal nyo lilinyahan/susulatan..

Hi!yes sir pwde din po sa plastic,just don't forget to put masking tape sa surface ng icucut nyo sir,pag wala kasing masking tape,tinutunaw ng cutting disc yung plastic ee lalo kung high speed,mas okay ang pagcut kapag may masking tape,plus mas easy to make guide lines narin sa part ng icucut nyo sir :)

looking in my warehouse, Big co2 laser, 3kw fiber laser, Mill, CNC, 3d printers... Watch the start, cool the guy CNC or laser cut the panel, done in like 5mins with a laser after 3d scanning it and spending about 5 mins on the design... Nope the guy did it all manually lol, must have took ages

Hi sir!ano sya,yung metal mesh speaker cover pang sasakyan sir then ako na nag cut..pero kung meron nagsusupply sa area nyo ng perforated metal sheet na may ganyang hex cut holes mas mainam.. :)

Hi!it's a Lotus brand with a flex shaft attachment :) The hex mesh is from the front grill/cover of a car speaker then I just cut it to fit this front panel..
