FRONT ROW ACADEMY: CARDIFF MET RFC

The Front Row has evolved. Talent in the scrum and lineout are no longer the exception, it’s the rule, and a modern front row needs much, much more to make an impact.
At Cardiff Met, the Front Row Academy has been designed to develop the complete package. A composite player that has the natural talent to scrummage and the skill to dominate in open play.
The Academy has been developed by Head Coach Dr Ian Gardener, Scrum Coach Alun Williams and Strength and Conditioning Specialist David Watts.
The Front Row Academy aims to produce players that can compete at the pinnacle of elite competition, such as Cardiff Met Alums Jack Yeandle and Will Hurd.
