This is true but we aren't talking about conventional weapons today. The U.S. has the most experienced blue water navy in the world. Its carrier groups cam be out at sea for months without refueling. China can't. China also hasn't perfected logistics while at sea during patrol. It's navy must stop at ports for weeks for resupply. China can defensively give a U.S. a show but un the end The U.S. navy would still dominate.

The Ford went home because the US has no supply ships, when a US ship runs out of stocks it has the go home. The Chinese by contrast has six supply ships for its carrier, it never needs to go home. The Enterprise was stripped, and towed to the place where it would become part of the coral reef. With Zero defense, the Navy blasted the heck out of it. After 5 days of HEAVY Direct Fire and still had not sunk. The Navy had to send Seals over to plant ordinance to finally sink it. The Navy paid very close attention during those 5 days and incorporated the lessons into the build of the FORD,CVN78 The New Enterprise CVN 79 will begin shake down this year. It's funny CVN80, the Keel has been laid and the name has already been chosen, CVN81 they've begun the modular sections but no name has been released yet. Personally, I hope it'll be the USS D.J.T. one can only hope.

nope... USA ships carry anti missile and drone laser's now that are capable of firing and destroying a expensive target for under $10 a trigger pull. Plus the lasers don't require ammo and are capable of being fired over 10,000 times everyday. Doesn't matter how many missiles china has, they will run out of them and have resupply issues as is... Even if the entire chinese navy attacked one updated USA fleet with every missile and drone they had, they might get a couple of hits. but are going to be sunk trying to go resupply or just get holes burnt in them by lasers. its a whole new battelfied and it doesn't matter how fast they fly, lasers are light speed... they can't outrun light speed LOLOLOLOL

Actually, at 100,000 tons the USS Gerald R. Ford is 25% larger than the Chinese ship which weighs 80,000 tons... rather than the stated 20% in the video. The Ford is 20,000 tons larger; 20,000 is 25% of 80,000. On the other hand, the Chinese at 80,000 tons is 20% SMALLER than the Ford at 100,000. China's carriers are new and therefore they carry the latest weapons. Yes China has no war experience with carriers but then the US too has sailors that have not fought any battle against enemy carriers as well. Admitted that US carriers have their past records of battle; but that said China is only marginally disadvantaged and as they go forward, they will narrow their differences, Chinese people are fast to learn and catch up. Our PLA does not fear the Americans, proven by our war in alliance with the DPRK in 1950, when China has only small arms against the might of the American led UN alliance.

IN FACT : The U.S. has about 100 YEARS of Combat Blue Water Carrier Experience , the Chinese are currently traning on Close to Shore carrier exercises. Zero Blue Water training yet in the South China Sea, in training, the Chinese managed around 37 sorties in 8 hours. Typically, U.S. Carriers perform 147 sorties EVERY 8 hours, around the clock in ALL weather the chines have yet to perform a night time carrier landing, or a rough sea landing both of which you need to be good at to perform Blue Water operations. Their numbers include everything down to row boats and EVERYTHING in China is plagued with Tofu dregg construction.
