Cliff notes for removing the bumper: Remove (2)9/32 wheel well screws on both sides. 1 is visible and the other is hidden. Remove (2) t15 screws on both sides. Pop out plastic wheel well a little on each side Go under the front of the truck to pop plastic clips out. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry the plastic clips up over the housing. Pop out 12 plastic clip holders above the radiator. Work the middle plastic piece out with a flat head screwdriver. Once popped pry the bottom with a plastic pry bar. Remove (8) 10mm bolts around the grill Lift grill pull up and out Remove (4) 18mm bolts holing the bumper on Remove (2) 15mm bolts from arm holding bumper on Unplug sensor before removing the bumper. Pull red tab out and squeeze the black tab to remove.

You only put something like that on that nice of a truck when you believe "The Purge" is really going to happen. Maybe on an "06 for hunting or off roading, but not that truck. Just my 2 cents, but to each is own.

Now if you bolt it straight to the frame it would be worth having but illegal to drive because of removing the function of the airbags

How do I take off the bumper “skid plate” behind the license plate? I want to change my grey one to Denali chrome one.. thanks in advance. Hopefully I don’t need to remove the whole bumper.

you can do it! Just need a flex head ratcheting wrench 7mm to get to the top 7mm bolts behind the plate - taking the bumper off is just dumb.

Just some food for thought why would you put such a durable bumper on. Because if you hit anything the airbags will go off and the trucks going to be totaled because of how much it's going to cost to fix. Just saying
