Any issues at 7,200 ft? I bought a Briggs& Stratton generator which quickly develed problems starting. In the parking lot of the store where i purchased it at 5,500 and it started easily. I have a wood chipper and another generator and they run fine.

Honestly this is the nicest portable sawmill I have ever seen and and I'm hoping it's in my price range as my family and I are moving from Los Angeles to the top of a mountain in Oregon that is yeah and an Oregon that is inaccessible pretty much to the rest of the world and easily cut off if some SHTF. Fun little saw. Like to see it cut some of the hardwood logs that we focus on salvaging here in Texas.....mesquite, pecan and live oaks. Either way, seems like a great saw for the hobbyist. Good cut quality on those softwoods. Too many dead and fallen trees....not enough urban sawyers to take advantage of all this wood going to waste. So having an affordable option is great for those looking to potentially get into the business.

4:32 Take the board off before you go back. Then you can tell if the next cut is worthwhile, or if there is metal in the wood, or if the cant should be rotated.

I built one of these in the 90's. Used trailer wheels for pulleys. They're a lot of fun. It could cut 24" x 18' log max. I eventually sold it to a horse logger from out of town. A tool I wish I'd never sold.
