I like how, originally, the call for a transcript and content disclaimer were done on a clean screen only to introduce lines for the CPB logo. The 1998 intro reminds me of a TV show called "Chuck" for some reason. The "Public Television Stations" credit was so clunky and awkward. I guess that's why it's "viewers like you" now. D:

PBS's newsmagazine program, like NBC's Dateline, ABC's 20/20, CBS's (once upon a time) 48 Hours...and in the early 2000s Fox tried to do a newsmagazine called "The Pulse" but that one didn't really catch on.
