Sadly, he’s actually inaccurate with some of his knowledge.. PAC wasn’t in debt his accounts were frozen due to the rape allegations in NY. And PAC approached Suge and even wrote out his own contract with death row. Suge and his lawyers refused to pay artists anything other than a monthly allowance. PAC would ask for an accounting of what he owed to repay the bail money and would be given a car, house and more. Suge was worse than Jerry heller and Diddy put together.

I was around 15 when this song came out and me and my crew had been bumpin “All Eyez On Me” for months. This was back when we were playing cds and tapes lol, and Hit Em up came out on the B-side of How do you want it single. My dad actually bought it and gave it to me. I knew from the first time I heard it that this was not going to end well, you could hear the rage in Pac’s voice. He was pissed. But his goal was to make a song that straight dug in the hearts of Bad Boy, but also be something that Biggie couldn’t escape because it was such a good song, they would hear it in clubs. He succeeded as we STILL bump this shit. And Puffy did an interview not long ago where he actually gave the song some props and said that it still hurts to this day lol. Too bad that it resulted in the deaths of two of the greatest of my generation and of all time!! Rest in power, Pac! We still Hit Em up 💯

Tupac’s musicality, lyrical craftsmanship along with hard punchlines and 1st class shit talking is what annihilated Biggie and Junior Mafia.

I would love to hear your thoughts on 2pac’s song “Pain”. It is in my opinion one of his best songs and very underrated and I’m sure your dad might appreciate that one slightly more than hit ‘em up 😂

Yh...pain very underrated. The last rap in pain prob one of the hardest raps in the whole of rap. So much passion

"So many tears". Have you had him listen that? I think that'd be a good one from 2-Pac to have him hear. That one for me was amazing. The lyrics and the bass line grips me every time.

Taking a man for his whole self is important. Pac didn’t take any shit. He was a loving soul and a great person. This side of him no doubt led to his death but I find parts of that side of him that I respect too. It’s sad but a man is who he is.
@Msboochie22 жыл бұрын
I was a huge Pac fan before this song. I lost a great deal of respect for him because of it. I didn’t like Biggie one bit before his death, but hearing stories of things he did for people and how he impacted others I came to like him a little better. So, yeah it’s important to take people as a whole. Oddly, I remember this being shocking at first but not that popular until after the movie.

@@wilfred-wils 1.) he wasn’t a rapist 2.)the world is violent 3.) what kid did he kill? You, me and society ignore way more. Tupac made it hard for the mainstream media to ignore the tragedies that go on in the world. 🤦🏽and who said anything about ignore the flaws?
